And you don't want to be here in the future So you say the present's just a pleasant Interruption to the past And you don't want to look much closer 'Cause you're afraid to find out all the hope That you had sent into the sky by now had crashed ( And it did because of me... )

Personally, I would love to hear more about these "promises of peace" in regards to Muggleborns. Are we just a bargaining chip or will the murders and disappearances of people like me continue tenfold upon a "Dark Lord" inspired rule? The vampires and werewolves will be "called off" as if they are nothing more than pets instead of people, but what of the masked individuals that attack children going to school, functions set by the Ministry, and people's private homes?
Really - it should have never come to this in the first place.

Well, I'm not dead.
Hell of a weekend, though.

There is protocol for a reason. I do not send out these bloody memos every month reminding people that if they bring us a translation that they cannot expect it to be finished and returned within hours, especially if it is in some random language that no one actually knows and it requires me to go and do research and find books. "Three hours, if possible, Miss Townsley." Three hours. THREE HOURS? You're a bloody idiot, is what you are and you're going to get it tonight when I'm good and ready to give it to you seeing as it's going to take me -- HONESTLY.
Work.
I swear to God, I'm taking a holiday.

A truly wonderful man died today.
I don't have any Bible verse or inspirational quote or any of that to get by or show homage or any of that. Just - that's it.

I feel it bears repeating.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4
